Multiple task lists in google

Multiple task lists in google

Google tasks is pretty handy and allows you to keep multiple task lists floating around.

Only down side is that you can only easily view one at a time.

Here’s a pretty simple work around

<head><title>Dylan's Tasks</title>
</head>

<!--Topframes , frameset sets the height / width-->
<frameset rows="50%,*" cols="25%,25%,25%,25%" border="5">
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

<!-next set of frames->
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<frame src="https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?listid=" scrolling="auto" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

</frameset>

Save this little bit of code as an HTML file somewhere on your computer.

Depending on the number of todo lists you have going , you may need to edit the file. You can edit the column/row percentages to increase width and height. If you need to add another list simply copy the code between the <frame src=> tag and edit it as needed.

Go to the following page : https://mail.google.com/tasks/m

Select the first list of interest , grab the url , replace the “m” with ig and paste it into the frame you want it to show up.

Add the HTML file to your list of starting pages.

Fin.
