Former researcher in microbial food safety, plant pathology, and genomics with a PhD in Life Sciences, currently working my way through a career in data and analytics.

My professional interests include : process and decision automation through machine learning and common sense, software development, data engineering, and reproducible research.

My personal interests include : home improvement, wood working, and gaming of all kinds.

I’ve had some sort of blog / website running for over a decade now.

In general it was always intended to be a resource for myself to keep notes for future reference - and if other people happen to find it useful, that’s just an added bonus. I keep telling myself i’ll take it more seriously - but I never get around to it. Maybe next year !
