Amount Ingredient
3 cups flour
9 tbsp (1.125 sticks) butter (frozen)
1 tbsp sugar
4.5 tsp baking powder
1.25 cup butter or whole milk
  1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt into a bowl - mix well.
  3. Grate cold butter into bowl, mix well through out.
  4. Add buttermilk, mix with fork until combined.
  5. Flour a surface for rolling.
  6. Roll and cut your biscuits

Optional : Roll, fold, and rotate 90 degrees 6 times before cutting.

  1. Bake for 10-15 minutes on a cooking sheet.

Optional : Instead of baking immediately, place between slices of wax paper and put in the freezer. Cook at the same temperature directly from the freezer when ready.
