Kettle Corn

Amount Ingredient
.25 cup popcorn kernels
2 tbsp canola oil
2 tbsp sugar (white or brown)
1 tsp salt

Have a bowl ready to dump the pop corn into so it doesn’t burn.

  1. In a large pan, heat oil with 3 kernels over medium - medium/high heat.
  2. Once all three kernels have popped, dump in remaining kernels.
  3. Allow to heat for 10-15 seconds, then dump sugar and salt in.
  4. Alternate swirling violently for 3-5 seconds and resting for 3-5 seconds.
  5. Allow to pop until 3-5 seconds between pops.
  6. Immediately dump into waiting bowl.
